Flooding in the Philippines: Children's Emergency Fund
de SAVE THE CHILDREN FEDERATION INCThe combined effects of the Southwest Monsoon and Tropical Cyclones Crising, Dante, and Emong have caused significant flooding across multiple regions of the Philippines, resulting in widespread damage.
Over three million people have been affected, with severe disruptions to vital farming and fishing industries. More than 300,000 students are unable to learn due to damaged classrooms, and nearly 200 schools have been repurposed as evacuation centers.
In response, Save the Children Philippines has mobilized its Emergency Response Team in Rizal, Cavite, Metro Manila, and Pangasinan to assess the needs of affected children and families, and will begin distributing life-saving relief kits.
Please consider donating to the Children’s Emergency Fund, which helps us prepare, respond quickly, and support children's recovery during disasters in the U.S. and around the world, like the floods in the Philippines.
