Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza | Children's Emergency Fund
チャリティ活動名 SAVE THE CHILDREN FEDERATION INCChildren in Gaza have experienced unimaginable hardship over two years of relentless violence. The scale of devastation in Gaza is extraordinary and the impact on children extreme and unprecedented.
Since the October ceasefire, a small amount of food and aid has reached Gaza, bringing tentative signs of hope. But the situation for families remains dire. While the Rafah crossing has opened to medical evacuees, it remains closed to the basic essentials and larger scale humanitarian aid the people of Gaza so urgently need.
Save the Children’s commitment to children remains unwavering, and we are ensuring our life-saving work in Gaza and the West Bank continues through local staff and partners.
We’re running health clinics and delivering malnutrition screening and treatment, water and sanitation services, child protection programs (including mental health support and individualized family support), education in temporary learning spaces and cash transfer programs. In Gaza, Save the Children currently screens over 14,000 children monthly for malnutrition through 10 mother/baby areas and at our primary healthcare centers.
